Summits on the Air is turning out to be a very enjoyable activity. Dan K7NXL and I activated Badger Mountain Summit in South Eastern Washington. Certainly one of the more prominent landmarks in the Tri-Cities and was a beautiful day to do a hike and ham radio. Join us for this nice little journey. We are starting to realize the allure of Summits on the Air.

The Hike is enjoyable as well as the operating although I forgot some of my gear. I guess I need a checklist or something. Didn’t dampen our outing though.
